Accessible hiking map

Summits in Solidarity believes that the outdoors should be accessible to EVERYONE - so we really appreciated when The Nature Conservancy (@tncnewhampshire) shared this searchable list of accessible trails with us and we wanted to pass it along to all of our followers.

If you head over to Trailfinder (also on Instagram @trailfinder_vtnh) you can limit your search by "Accessible experience" and you'll find a whole listing of trails in VT & NH that are accessible for those who are handicapped or mobility impaired! The options cover a wide area over both states including more urban areas like Manchester, NH and Burlington, VT to more remote areas like the Magalloway River Trail in far northern NH and the Eshqua Bog Area near Woodstock, VT.

In our local area in the White Mountain of NH some suggested trails include landmarks like Sabbaday Falls, Madison Boulder Natural Area and Diana's Baths. You can move the map around to see the area you plan to visit and what options may be near by. Once you chose an option you'll get a ton more info about it including trail details like distance, surface, fees and whether pets are allowed, driving directions, maps, nearby attractions, and more!

We think this is an amazing resource and hope you check it out or pass it along to someone else who might be interested.
