Join Summits in Solidarity’s Continuing Anti-Racism Challenge
Hey white people!* If you’ve already taken the Me & White Supremacy Challenge and want to deepen your anti-racism work, our new Continuing Anti-Racism Challenge is for you. In conjunction with the Me & White Supremacy program, we are now running a second virtual challenge to further our understanding of power, privilege, supremacy, oppression, and equity.
Each year, we will examine a different book, podcast, article series, or other media content, in particular those that focus on structural and institutional racism. We will meet in small groups on Zoom one hour a week for five weeks to share and grow collectively.
February 2026 Program: “Seeing White” Podcast Series
This February, we will examine the Seeing White podcast series. This documentary podcast series is a 14-part mini-series (30-45 minutes each) that examines the origins, meaning, and purpose of whiteness, and explores solutions and responses to America’s deep history of white supremacy.
This podcast series was produced in 2017 by Scene on Radio host John Biewen, along with an array of leading scholars and regular guest Dr. Chenjerai Kumanyika. The series editor is Loretta Williams. Scene on Radio comes from the Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke University and is distributed by PRX.
*Biracial, multiracial, and People of Color are welcome, however, this challenge, and in particular the group discussions we run, are designed for white people to confront white supremacy. These discussions may be irrelevant and/or triggering for non-white participants. There are several other excellent anti-racism group learning courses designed for BIPOC and/or all races that may be a better fit.
